Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to the most common questions about AI Advisor Lab and our revolutionary approach to strategic AI led Advisor services.
An AI Advisor is a domain-specialized artificial-intelligence system that challenges, deliberates, and produces attributed strategic recommendations — as distinct from an AI agent (which executes tasks) or an AI copilot (which accelerates individual productivity through a single model).
An AI Advisor combines multiple expert perspectives in structured deliberation, surfaces tensions and trade-offs, and tags material claims by verification status, with sourced claims linked to their citation.
AI Advisor Lab is the enterprise AI Advisor platform — the Decision Intelligence For Executives implementation of the AI Advisor category. Each engagement activates an AI Advisor team of up to 16 domain-specialized advisors deliberating in parallel, sized to the analysis tier, with every report naming the advisory team and the analytical frameworks applied. There are 300+ pre-configured AI Advisor teams across 40+ industry subsectors and 4,300+ specialized AI advisors available immediately.
- AI Advisor — deliberates, debates, and challenges. Tells you what you should be thinking about. Multi-perspective by structural design. (AI Advisor Lab.)
- AI Agent — executes tasks. Does what you tell it. (Salesforce Agentforce, AutoGen, CrewAI, Manus.ai.)
- AI Copilot / Chatbot — accelerates individual productivity through a single model. Answers what you ask. (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude.ai.)
- Multi-Agent Framework — coordinates sequential workflow pipelines. (LangGraph, CrewAI workflows.)
An AI Advisor Lab analysis activates 16 domain-specialized AI advisors deliberating in parallel; productive conflict is surfaced rather than smoothed over, and the synthesis cites the advisor behind a point as [Adv #N] against the report's advisor table, which lists each advisor by role.

The Decision Intelligence For Executives platform transforms unstructured AI outputs into organized, attributed, multi-perspective expert team intelligence — through the systematic orchestration of domain-specialized AI advisors operating in structured deliberation. It is a distinct approach within the decision intelligence category.
The Decision Intelligence For Executives platform is defined by four properties:
- Multi-perspective structure — each strategic question is analyzed simultaneously by multiple domain-specialized AI advisors, each bringing a distinct analytical framework. The result is not a blend — it is a structured chorus of genuinely distinct expert voices.
- Deliberation & productive conflict — advisors disagree. Tensions are surfaced and preserved. Minority views are documented and attributed, not filtered out.
- Full attribution — every report names the advisory team that produced it and the analytical frameworks applied, and every material claim carries a verification tag.
- Emergent team intelligence — the output is categorically superior to the sum of individual advisor contributions. No single-model system can replicate it.
Decision Intelligence For Executives is a fundamentally different approach to what AI is for — not task completion, but decision quality.
- AI Agents — task execution & automation. Output: completed actions, workflows, code. Multi-perspective? No.
- AI Assistants / Copilots — individual productivity acceleration via a single model. Output: content, summaries, answers. Multi-perspective? No.
- Multi-Agent Frameworks — coordinated sequential workflow pipelines. Output: automated task sequences. Multi-perspective? Partial, and sequential rather than deliberative.
- AI Advisory Platforms (AI Advisors) — multi-perspective decision intelligence. Output: attributed strategic recommendations. Multi-perspective? Yes — structural core.
The critical distinction: An AI agent does what you tell it. An AI advisor challenges, deliberates, and tells you what you should be thinking about — from expert perspectives you may not have known to consult.
Because we think gating quality to upsell you is a bad business model. We want you to experience the full capability of the platform so your buy/no-buy decision is informed by the real ceiling of what we deliver. Degraded models produce degraded trust — and we're not interested in either.
A report is a complete multi-expert advisory output produced by 16 AI advisors analyzing your challenge in parallel across all relevant frameworks — strategic, financial, operational, compliance, and technical. The equivalent of a traditional consulting engagement deliverable: executive-format, MECE-structured, strategic consulting-quality formatted output.
Hard stop. You lose access to the platform and your reports. This is intentional — not punitive. AI Advisor Lab is not a substitute for professional consulting services.
Speed, Cost, and AI Specialization. Traditional research and analysis engagements may take 6-12 weeks and can cost $200K+. We deliver comprehensive strategic analysis in hours for significantly less cost.
Unlike traditional research and analysis, which may typically apply 1-2 familiar frameworks, an AI Advisor team puts specialists from several disciplines on the same question, each reasoning from its own area of expertise, and in a second deliberation round they respond to each other's analyses and say where they disagree.
You get multiple cross-domain AI specialist collaborating in real-time versus 2-3 resources working sequentially. Plus, we provide full attribution: each report lists its advisors by role, and the synthesis cites the advisor behind a point as [Adv #N].
No technical skills required—period.
Unlike other AI agent frameworks that require Python coding (Google ADK), API configuration (Perplexity Comet), or workflow design (n8n), AI Advisor Lab works entirely through natural language:
- Describe your challenge in plain English (e.g., "I need an Advisor team focused on the retail industry that can analyze innovations for customer self service and chat solutions")
- Witihin minutes our platform generates a custom cross domain AI specialist team with validated capabilities, industry and compliance specialization
- Our team will start getting results immediately we can share—no configuration, no coding, no technical setup
Compare to alternatives:
| Solution | Technical Skills Required | Setup Time |
|---|---|---|
| AI Agents | Python programming | Days To Weeks |
| Custom AI Workflow | Python + prompt engineering | Weeks |
| AI Advisor Lab | None | Minutes |
This is why we call it "No-Code Enterprise AI Advisor"—it's designed for business leaders and domain experts, not software developers.
We don't hide them — we catch them and label them.
Traditional AI tools present everything with equal confidence, mixing verified facts with fabricated details. You're left guessing what's real. That's a problem when you're making important decisions.
AI Advisor Lab takes a fundamentally different approach:
- ✓ Verified — Based on your provided data, documents, or established facts
- ~ Estimated — Analytical calculations or pattern-based inferences with reasoning shown
- ? Assumption — Industry standards or logical inferences that require your validation
- ⚠ Flagged — Low-confidence claims where we've identified potential hallucination risk
Additionally, the advisors review each other's work. In a second deliberation round, each advisor reads its closest collaborators' analyses, along with those of advisors whose first-round views differed most from its own, and states where it agrees and where it pushes back. In the deeper analysis modes, when web research is on, key claims are also fact-checked against live web sources and the report is revised where the evidence differs.
The result: You get the speed and cost benefits of AI without the trust problem. A claim is labelled Verified only when it cites a source, so you can see what you can act on with confidence — and what needs your review first.
You don't have to trust blindly — you can verify.
Most AI asks you to take its word for it. We think that's backwards, especially for important business decisions. That's why we built AI Advisor Lab to show its work:
- Claims are labelled by their evidence — You see which claims are Verified against a cited source, which are analytical estimates, and which are assumptions requiring your validation. A claim is labelled Verified only when it cites a source
- Advisors are cited by number — The synthesis cites the advisor behind a point by number against the report's advisor table, which lists each advisor by role
- Assumptions are labelled — Claims that rest on an assumption are labelled Assumption and listed in the report's claim ledger
- Confidence levels are shown — We tell you when we're certain and when we're not
Think of it like the difference between a colleague who says "trust me" versus one who says "here's my reasoning, here's my data, here's what I'm assuming — what do you think?"
We designed AI Advisor Lab for the second approach. You make the final decision. We give you the transparency to make it with confidence.

Retail & E-commerce: Omnichannel, Customer Experience, Operations
Plus: Energy, Transportation, Media, Education, Government, Agriculture, and more.
Each industry team includes domain-specific AI specialists who understand your sector's unique challenges, regulations, and opportunities.
Multi-Layer Quality Assurance: Our quality is enhanced through multi-perspective AI Advisor analysis with systematic validation:
Cross-Domain AI Specialist Collaboration: Every analysis involves multiple AI specialists who debate, challenge, and refine recommendations before delivery.
Tension Resolution: Where advisors disagree, the synthesis names both positions, explains the root of the disagreement and resolves it — or, where it cannot, presents both as viable alternatives.
Attribution Tracking: Each report lists its advisors by role and number, and the synthesis cites the advisor behind a point as [Adv #N], so a conclusion can be traced to the perspective it came from.
Evidence Labels: Claims in the report are labelled by the kind of evidence behind them — for example Verified, Estimate, Assumption, Flagged or Asserted. A claim is labelled Verified only when it cites a source, and a claim drawn from research carries a numbered reference to its entry in the report’s source list.
Calibrated Claim Ledger: Each report includes a ledger of its Verified, Estimate, Assumption and Flagged claims that shows the source behind each claim that has one, and states the share of the report’s claims that are externally grounded. A claim with no source is shown without one, not given one.
Result: analysis that is faster to produce and easier to audit, because you can see which claims rest on a cited source and which are the advisors’ own judgment.
Comprehensive Implementation Support: Strategic analysis is just the beginning. We provide ongoing guidance through execution:
- Deliverables Review: Consultation to review the provided deliverables, detail and full analysis
- Follow-up: Additional scenarios can be run on deliverables provided or additional client information

Measurable Quality, Not Marketing Claims.
How the analysis is structured:
- Strategic Framework Application: We use established proven methodologies: Porter's Five Forces, Blue Ocean Strategy, 7S Framework, Real Options Valuation
- Attribution: each report lists its advisors by role, and the synthesis cites the advisor behind a point as [Adv #N] (traditional research and analysis provides limited attribution transparency)
- Multi-specialist review: the same question is analyzed by specialists reasoning from different frameworks, rather than by a single resource
How Quality Is Checked:
- Evidence labels: material claims are tagged Verified, Estimate, Assumption or Flagged, and a claim is tagged Verified only when it cites a source, with a numbered reference to the report’s source list
- Calibrated Claim Ledger: lists these claims with the source of each one that has one and states the share of the report that is externally grounded; the report also states its grounding rate — the share of claims the advisors tagged as citing evidence
- Deliberation round: in a second round, advisors review each other’s analyses, say where they agree and where they push back, and the dissent stays in the report
- Web fact-check in the deeper modes: in Executive Briefing and Comprehensive Engagement, with web research on, key claims are checked against live web sources and the report is revised before delivery
We're not just another consulting firm – we're the AI alternative to research and analysis.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard that lets an AI agent connect to outside tools — think of it as a universal adapter that Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and AWS all support. Our MCP server is the connection that lets any MCP-compatible agent consult a team of AI Advisors.
Sixteen capabilities are available over that connection. Your agent can find the right advisory team by describing a problem in plain language, or browse the full catalog. It can consult that panel on a question, request an added debate round, or ask specifically for the case against a decision already made. It can submit a specific piece of work for review rather than a general question. It can start a longer review, carry on working, and collect the result later, or cancel it if the question moves on. It can carry your business context between engagements, so a later consult already knows your industry, competitors and regulatory posture. And it can check the answer itself, scoring a response for trait risk such as sycophancy and tracing conclusions back to the advisors and evidence behind them.
The advisors give advice only. They never touch your files, systems or data — that stays with your own agents. See the MCP server page for the full picture.
Fifteen agent platforms have been validated against their vendor documentation, and any client that supports remote MCP servers connects the same way. Platforms that can open a browser — including Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, n8n, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot Studio and Salesforce Agentforce — need a single sign-in with your account, with nothing to copy or store.
Platforms that cannot open a browser — servers, CI pipelines and autonomous agents such as CrewAI, the OpenAI Agents SDK, Google Vertex AI ADK, LangChain and Microsoft AutoGen — connect using a revocable token issued from your account.
Setup takes about a minute. We provide the full integration runbook, including step-by-step configuration for your platform, once your account is set up.
You need four things: an AI Advisor Lab account on a paid plan (Professional, Enterprise or Partner), your own Anthropic API key added to that account, and MFA enabled on your login. A consult over MCP draws on the same monthly Advisory Consult allowance as a meeting run in the web app — one MCP consult counts as one Advisory Consult.
Because you supply your own key, the token cost of each run is billed directly to your Anthropic account with no markup from us.
On timing: a quick review comes straight back, and a deeper one is acknowledged in about a second and then runs in the background, typically finishing in roughly 10 to 25 minutes at standard depth. It takes longer than a single model call on purpose — you are getting several advisors examining the question and responding to each other rather than one answer. Your agent carries on with other work in parallel and collects the result when it is ready.
